This is the unpeated version that is very similar to Port Charlotte heavily peated so we can see side by side if it is the peat that isn't our favorite or it is the single malt itself that we do not have the palate for at this time. Currently,I am unable to find out any further information about his bottle. The search results only bring up the heavily peated or the Rock Side Farms version.

Very similarly to the heavily peated version it had a dark lemon color in the Glencairn glass as we poured it.

It was a medium-intensity aroma that had heavy hints of honey mead, fruitiness, pineapple, along with the standard processing and again process.

The palate produced a some-complex medium finish with honey, oak, pepper, and fruitiness to it

After doing a side-by-side comparison of a heavily peated and an unpeated version of the same Scotch, it seems like we are not fans of single malt offerings since it was the same flavor profile in both that our palate wasn't accustomed to. It is still a very well-made scotch and I would like others to try it and see for themselves if this is a variety for them.
