While visiting Panama City, Florida we headed over to Panama City Beach to check out the Panama City Beach Winery. This winery produces only fruit and citrus wines. They do not add any flavorings or sugars to the final product. These are not grape-based wines, they are created using the fruit that is on the label. The first one we are writing about is the Mamma Guava.

Guava is a tropical fruit that reminds you of palm trees, beaches, and sunny days. It doesn't come off as a base for wine to us, but it is still doable. If you are looking for a sweet tropical wine that makes you think you are on a beach even when it's freezing outside you should check out this wine.

This is considered a white wine but has a semi-cream color to it.

The nose is light with pronounced aromas of guava, pears, strawberries, and pineapple.

The palate is medium and has some complexity with the base of the guava that comes out, with additional notes of pears, strawberries, pineapple, with a hint of lemon.

This is a strong recommendation of ours since it goes well by itself along with pairing with food.
