Gin Review: Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin

Bombay goes to great lengths with their gin since they have a Master of Botanicals, Ivano Tonutti. He travels around the world to hand-select the 11 botanicals that are used in the gin. By doing this he creates a personal relationship with each grower to ensure the best ones are available. They gently vapor infuse the botanicals during the distillation process to extract their bright and vibrant flavors.

Since this is gin it was colorless as it should be.

The nose was light with the standard juniper with the addition of citrus notes.

The palate was simple and light. It produced notes of juniper (although very light) citrus, herbs, and pepper. It was crisp yet spikey at the same time.

As a standard go-to gin, this would be good to have around. It could very easily go into various cocktails or be sipped by itself.
